Ok, so here's the skinny. I am dropping the plans for the Windsor all together...which means this thread is now in the wrong forum.
Anyway, I just bought an 03 Cobra that went sideways into a pole. It has some mods (pully etc) and is dyno'd at 587 bhp. For the price I paid and for the power this car is putting out, it is a steal compared to what I was planning. I am going to do a full drive train swap, minus the IRS, and also I am going to get the interior swapped as much as possible. My plans for paint have not changed, although I will definately need some kind of raised hood to clear the snout on the supercharger. I am thinking a Cobra R hood form Cervini will suffice. I am no stranger to Windsor swaps, but this is completely new for me altogether. It should be interesting. I will continue to document the entire project, though I will probably have to get this thread moved. Pics of the Cobra to follow once I get it to the project location. T_M |
