Yes, I have the 8mm wires. I believe they also came from Pertronix. It was kind of scary the way that wire heated up. Just a thought. My old NAPA coil has a note on it stating that it does not require an external resistor. Is it possible that I need a resistor with the Flamethrower coil? There were no instructions with it. E.
