I thought about the Mustang II front suspension about 12 years ago for my old '65 coupe, but just couldn't bear to tear up the unibody like that. Considering the fastbacks are getting pretty valuable and it is in such solid shape, I still can't do it.
I went ahead and ordered the 302 today, although I did consider the 331 and the 347 for a few minutes. When all was said and done, I decided that 375 hp/395 ft-lb. was enough to get me into trouble and the price was certainly right. I'm just going to pull and sell the 351. I'm sure I'll take a bath on it and whoever ends up with it will be quite happy. |
