Well, I get the point of having blue dots. I just think they're ugly. But if you like them, that's all that matters. Has anyone tried putting them on the inside? Will they still cause the lamp to show a bit of blue at night?

I guess you're too young to truly appreciate the iconic value of "Blue Dots" and that's cool. It's not your fault you were born in the 70's. It's like "okiedragster" said, back in the day everybody had them on their rides. My old man put em' on every car he had. They're part of the history and tradition of Hot Rodding. A lil' education goes a long way.
As for your question. Try using spot light gels. Like they use at night clubs. Go to any plastics store for 1' x 1' sq. sheets in any color you want. Maybe you'll start a new fad. But don't get mad if somebody asks "why didn't you just use blue dots"? Ugly is as ugly does. MoonStang |
