![]() Your dad probaly knows his stuff, but like my dad, he is an old schooler, you could do that on old musclecars.
A computer controlled vehicle is a little different (if thats what you have), the spout must be removed, and without a timing light, your taking a chance. Yea you probaly felt a difference at first, but the ecu will compensate. My dad and i did this when i first got my car (didnt remove the little grey plug) after a little research I found the proper way to do it.
