The 165's and 185's both retail at $1349.00. That's actually MSRP but I've seen them cheaper. After talking to my engine guru, I'm sold on AFR's. The 165 is definately a better choice for the 302 with it's smaller ports. A 185 head is a little large for a normally aspirated 5.0L, but they both flow very similar numbers. I'm going to build a 347 eventually with 185 AFR's. But I don't want to put them on my 302 in the meantime. I think I'll get the 165's and when I build the bigger motor, just have them ported.
