![]() Back when I had a stockish motor with an explorer intake which is basicly the same thing as a cobra intake I didnt notice any negatives just positives.
By changing only the intake. I went from a stock intake to an explorer intake and went from a 14.79 @93mph to a 14.46 @95mph. The bog/loss of low end torque is not intake related IMO.
