Please accept my condolences.

I sold my '90 LX 2 years ago, after owning it since it was brand-new, so I know how it feels. It wasn't a need for money but a need for a more 'practical' car that motivated my decision to sell.

I refused to sell it to the first would-be buyer, as he wanted it for his 16-year-old son. I just couldn't do that as I knew, as you did, what trouble an inexperienced driver can get into with a 5.0, from speeding tickets to a fatal accident when they lose control of a car that doesn't respond to stepping on the gas pedal anything like the lazy, four-cylinder grocery-getter that they learned to drive with.

In any case, it's always a tough decision to sell your 'Stang. Try to enjoy the memories, at least.
