![]() you dont have to use shorty headers that was just an example.lol these are tri y headers from mustangs unlimited.but theres so many companies that make great headers.i would really look into it,those ones you have are too tight for your heads. the ones in my car are full length.

![]() Can you find out what brand he bought? What transmission they were designed for (like a c-4)?? The AOD is wider, therefore I had to do some tweaking on mine years ago to get them to work.
If you could, also ask him if he had to do any mods to his to get them to clear

![]() my friend said he did the same thing with a torch and prybar but his headers cleared the plugs.he also told me that he is going to change them to the jbas there not as long as full length but there not shortys.he said the way his exhaust is to much direct heat on the tranny and the tranny tube runs alot hotter than normal.
