99-04 SQ V2 Head Unit is it interchangable with the v1 vortech?

I have a sq v2 head unit from vortech.......just wondering if I can swap out my head unit for a v1? If so do I have to modify it in anyway to make it work? I like the noise of the v1.

yes it will swap without issue... its the same blower just different gears.... for that matter you could up grade to the T-trim the same because its the same housing with different internals

I got a chance to swap it to a v1 everything went smoothly not too mention I love the way it sounds. You wouldn't happen to know what the gear ratio is for the v1 would ya?
