I've got the MSD coil on mine, and have the whine. I called up Summit about it when I first got it, they said that I should check my plugs and wires (which were new), and it was some of ignition problem, not the coil. I insisted that it was the coil, and since this was a high performance coil it shouldn't have problems with a stock ignition. I made them replace the coil... well the second one is making the same noise, not quite as bad though. I've just lived with it since then. I kind of hope it does go bad, so I will replace it with something else.
