![]() I've been researching the "ultimate" setup for both drag racing, and cornering. The best ideas I've heard so far is to go with an adjustable coil over setup on the front and rear from Griggs Racing, UPR, or anyone else doing the coil over conversions. One of the techs at Griggs suggested that I go that route and buy two sets of springs. One for every day use with a high spring rate, and the other with a lower rate for the drag strip. I've heard this same setup suggestion from a few different sources and companies and they all pretty much say the same thing.
Other than that you'll sacrifice on cornering when you try to make the car hook and vice versa, so the only true way to make it work is go completely adjustable. You're talking money for a setup like this, but you'd be the envy of all your friends because you could raise and lower your car and adjust the shock/strut stiffness with ease ![]() ------------------ Gunning for 12's! ![]() Buy your parts here ICQ# 42269241 [This message has been edited by 2FastLX (edited 10-23-2001).] |
