That will work---assuming there is no underlying problem with the EEC system. I once had a faulty ISC-BPA that caused the idle to stay constant at 1200 rpm. Check your EEC codes, first. If there is no problem, than reset your idle speed using the set screw. You got to wonder how it got messed up in the first place. jake
