![]() Change the headers to ceramic 1-3/4 and plan on a lot of tuning with an aftermarket computer system or chip, i.e. EEC-Tuner, JMS chip, etc. The heads have kind of large intake runners for a 302. Ported TW or AFR 165's might be a better choice to keep some semblance of low speed torque especially with the AOD. With that cam and high flow heads, shoot for a 3500-4000 stall on the convertor and 6300-6400 shift points. It should run 11's when lined out with 4.30 gears and 26x10 slicks and suspension work- remove front sway bar, leave rear in place or spring for aftermarket drag rear bar.
