I have a 2.3 liter LX that I wanted to make sound better as well. I purchased a dual exhaust system from dynomax and had a local Meinekee muffler shop custom fabricated a y-pipe. The rest of the sytem bolted right in. It sounds much better (the sound reminds me of a Saab turbo 900) and eliminated an annoying resonance that used to occur at speed. I know, its no V-8 sound but I suspect a V-6 w/ duals might sound even better. Plus the duals give the look of a V-8.
