Jett is right about the relay, an easy way to tell if the relay is bad is turn on the A/C. If you have it, that is. That should automatically engauge the cooling fan, if it doesn't come on, that tells you the relay is bad. If it does, the temp sensor could be the culprit. I'm pretty sure it's located on the intake. If you wonder about the pretty sure part, I haven't had a 2.3L Mustang for about 3 years. When I did; however, I fixed everything on it.
