![]() Assuming your 90 is a 2.3L, your rear-end is a 7.5", 3.45 non-trac/posi lok rear. It is not difficult to switch out rear ends, but u will need have jack stands, and be familiar with bleeding the brake system. As for replacement I would suggest getting a 8.8" rear end from a 5.0 or you could go even better with a rear-end from an 87-88 (AUTOMATIC) thunderbird turbocoupe which has 7.5" 3.73gears, trac-lok, and disc-brakes not to mention quad shocks. This stick is the same except gearing is 3.45's.
