![]() The late-eighties fox-bodied Mustangs were good cars; workmanship and overall build quality was fairly high so any '88 that has been passably maintained should be a good transportation vehicle.
Parts are very easy to find (new or junkyard) and are usually priced fairly low. I would recommend a 2.3 Mustang as a decent transportation vehicle of good quality that usually gets very acceptable gas mileage. Of course, at 11 years old, some parts will need to be replaced and the current mileage and maintainence history will be a big factor in the overall reliability of the car. |
