I too am rebuilding the front end on my wifes Mach 1. I am on the verge of ordering a complete kit from PST. After market stuff. Yesterday I priced the pieces individually at the local parts stores. They didnt come close to the kit prices. All the locals had was OEM quality for bushings, and from what I understand, they get mushy & deteriorate. Then the Polyurethane, squeeks after a couple of years... I think I am going with the Polygraphite. Supposed to be superior and NEVER SQUEEK. I will replace the coils, shocks and tires as well. I read about lowering the upper control arms for better cornering. I have the templates and will make that modification. Easy to do at this time. This works on 1965-70 and should help the little lady stay on the pavement when she gets to showin' off.
Has anyone made this modification? I hope it works out. Any thoughts????
