These are the connections according to Chilton's wiring diagram for 65 Mustangs.
BLACK-GREEN (Center of switch) To fuse panel, turn signal flasher, constant voltage unit for temp & fuel gauges, and windsheild wiper switch. BLACK-GREEN (On side of switch) To oil pressure indicator. YELLOW To fuse panel, main disconnect in firewall, and light switch. Wires may splice into other colors on the way to these destinations.
