![]() Check every inch of the throttle assembly. From the gas pedal to the carb. My son's 89 GT did that and we were pulling hair out by the handfuls trying to figure out why. It turned out to be an errant floor mat that would flip over onto the pedal enough to hold it there. It made for some interesting few seconds when it hung.
