Try a search for Jack Rousch. A few years ago, they had ALL the 4cyl bases covered! I read an article on a turbo 2.3 T-Bird where they put in a little bigger Crane Cam, 4.11 gears, and punched a few small holes in the rubber waste gate hose to fool it into a little higher boost and the thing was insanely quick esp. for a fairly heavy car w/small cubes. You really need a boost gauge and a detonation-control ignition here, though! I think I've still got the article in my "library" if you'd like to see it (scan and send).
