![]() The light lens say 64 because that is when they were approved. the 65A on the door tag stands for coupe with standard interior, the "D" stand for 289 four barrel 1964 1/2other clues would include a generator instead of a alternator and a single wire horn ring on the steering wheel. note that the horns on a 64 1/2 have a relay that controls them and the horns are mounted to the lower control arm strut braces down by the bottom of the radiator, and they are huge!
