a newbie here but i say go for it!! i put a edelbrock f-28 2x4 w/500's on my 302 and the mods were basic perf RPM cam and 1.90 int 1.60 exh w/ mild "street" port on the heads. i did lean the carbs 2 stages (per the edelbrock manuel) i did it cuse i always wanted to (looks) and it does get the wow's take a look if you want to http://www.mustangsandmore.com/ubb/brockjoe.html
