MercDude,
Thanks... if you looked at my sig, it would answer your question. I'm running a toploader 4 speed. The engine isn't going to be staying stock long (I already have my planned mods that will push me easily over the 400hp mark - should be over 425 and close to 450hp.) The motor right now is a stock 4 bolt main 72 short block with 70 4V closed chamber heads. I will be reusing my hooker longtube headers with 2.5" straight pipes leading back to quiet mufflers and GT dual chrome tips for now. It'll get an H pipe and a couple of flowmaster delta flow 2 chambers eventually. I will also be running a full MSD ignition and holley blue fuel pump... I'm going to use the edel torker intake coming with the motor.... the only other intake I have is a performer 2V (bad port mismatch). Unfortunately, it'll be topped off with a holley 650 vac secondary carb for a while. I know plenty about cleveland performance. I was just wondering what kind of times a stock 285hp motor would run in a 69 stang as the old engine wasn't stock and was over the 285hp mark... just wondering how much SLOWER it will be. =)
