What oil pan do you have on your 351W?? Are you hitting the tube crossmemeber??
I have installed several with people and never ran into that with the early style, front sump pan. If you change pans you have to check the pickup to make sure it works with the pan. Changing it isn't a hard job. Since the engine isn't in the car yet, it's a snap. Dave |
