T5 tranny swap

I have the ford billet. I thought FMS was Ford motor sports. Anyway I have the ford one.

The T-5's are hit and miss. My buddy is on his third. (ran 13.5 motor/12.2 nitros) 30-40 passes. I know other people that have toasted them, but I have heard people here running good #'s with no problems. One guy I think has run 10's for 150 passes with 150K on the org. tranny.

83-85(86?) t-5's are weaker and have 2.95 1st compared to 3.35.

I had an SROD. I don't think they are strong, but I put 40-50 passes on it(13.5 best). Worked great when I pulled it out.

I just figured with my buddy putting out $1800(Can.) on three trannys I would spend $400 extra and get a Tremec.
