![]() Really? I havent talked to any mechanics, but i heard i could get an engine rebuild for around $800-$1000. I do want to get a good rebuild though. Im not planning on putting a new crankshaft or anything. I was planning on new pistons, con-rods, and all the other standard parts that get replaced. But what parts do you guys have in mind, i want to build a good street racer engine, something that con handle good power, i might put a NOS system in the car later on. I also need a new tranny, my stock 3spd isnt cutting it, i dont know why Ford even offered it with a 289. So as you can see the car is looking at a lot of money going torwards it in the future, I dont mind spending on an engine rebuild if its really going to help my car perform. I also wanted to ask a friend of mine who what he thinks would work good with the car, he has a killer 67.
see ya guys later ------------------ Under Construction 66 Coupe -289 V8 4 barrel Holley 600cfm carb - Headers - Flowmaster 2 1/2 dual exaust |
