Fostang has a point. Welded connections are definitely better than clamps. I got my 2 1/2" set up done by a little Mexican shop for $250 not including the mufflers. It was all aluminized pipe too. The bends are not as smooth as mandrel bent pipe, but it all works pretty well. Make sure you get some kind of cross over pipe between the two exhaust pipes somewhere after the headers and before the mufflers (the "H" pipe).
