Thank you for your help. Right now my 289 has a stock 2bbl; headers-full length headmen; stock cam and stock timing; cherry bombs with 2¼" pipes coming out in front of the rear tires. I want to change the pipes to 2½"; get a holley 500 cfm 2bbl, or, if that doesn't cut it, put a holley 650 cfm with adapter on my stock 2bbl manifold. I want to keep the stock manifold on.
