My N/A 97 Cobra runs 7.8 @ 88 MPH in the 1/8th mile.
Even when stock, you should be around 82-83 MPH in the 1/8th. And yes, you will make up alot after the 1/8th mile with a DOHC. Its all top-end in these Cobra's. But, if you are geared accordingly (i.e., 4.30 or 4.56 gears) and have decent traction, you will run what I run with only minor bolt-ons.
