From what I haev heard, is that Ford will make anything you want. For example, my buddies dad wanted a 68 T-bird with 4 on the floor.... and as you know T-birds are all autos. Well, Ford built him one.
I also ran into a guy that had a 94 Cobra with a 5.4 from the factory. It was custom built... And he worked for Ford. So an automatic in a Cobra is not that hard to imagine, however I don't see the point. ------------------ 1994 Mustang Cobra 308ci, Vortech S-trim 11#, ported GT-40 heads, E-303 cam, FMS 1 5/8 headers, BBK Offroad H-pipe, 2-chamber flows, and several other goodies.
