![]() With gears and full exhaust I was running 15.0-15.1 in my 89vert/aod. Not to take away from the new v-6s but, I'm thinking that 5.0 is tired.
My girlfriend had a 94 v6 firebird(manual) that surprised the heck out of me. It wouldn't out run my 5.0 by any means but it did surprise me. I think it was rated at 200hp or there about. Maybe the newer ones are stronger.. Did anyone else read the recent article where the v6s got together for a day at the track?? They had a v6 firebird that ran 12.8s with a blower... very impressive(to me anyhow). I think that most of the v6 mustangs were in the low 13s. |
