Actually, 87GT with 146k on it ran a 14.19@100mph with a totally stock engine needing a tuneup badly, and with extra weight in the back running stock 10* timing after an hour of driving (still hot). The 2.73's and Z spec T-5 didn't exactly help launches, either.
I suppose I could tune it up for you, pull a mid/high 13, then call your car a piece of **** cause you spent extra money on it to run that slow? I suppose I could spend another $500, slap some gears in, grab some underdrives and an electric fan setup and rip on your car some more when my ET is lower than yours, but why? |
