Rules of Engagement

I know it makes sense to choose your battles wisely (what is the sense in thrashing a mid-80's Civic, Tercel, or whatever). But, the thing that gets me is when approaching a red light with two thru lanes, and the car/mini-van/truck or whatever changes lanes from behind you to pull up next to you (almost saying - you will not be going fast enough, so I will pass you when the light turns green). Not sure if I made the situation clear, but I always take this as a challenge to let them know that THEY were the slower vehicle, and they should have stayed where they were - BEHIND ME!
