![]() My tip on racing, is don't bog the motor. It is better to spin the tires than let it bog. A buddy of mine runs a 1990 LX with decent mods. When he bogs the motor he ends up with around a 14.5, but by letting the tires spin a little he sees more like a 14.0-14.2. The reason I use him as an example is because my car has slicks, and my friends car has a b-cam so it should rev like your 4.6, and with his street tires, it would compare better to your car. Other than the launch, the rest is just floor it, and shift as fast as possible. Oh ya by the way the 4.6 is 281 cubic inches. And they love to rev comparred to the 5.0s so gears would be a good mod to do.
