![]() I own a 1991 LX 5.0. I want the car to run 12s on the STOCK motor. Currently the car has gone 13.72, and weighs 3208 with me (200lbs) in it. This is done with steel hood and hatch, and I plan on moving the battery back soon. My 60fts are 1.9x and I know that with a 4000-4500 launch the car should run 1.8 or better. The suspension is stock except for a removed sway bar and lakewood shocks. My plans are Bigs and Littles, Fiberglass components, Headers and an H-pipe (still stock now), and suspension mods. Since the last run (13.72) I have added an aluminum drive shaft, and removed the A/C compressor. I'm almost possitive that @ Englishtown in 60-70 degree temps the car should go 13.5 or better. Another goal is to beat my friends '00 LS1 SS, which has gone 13.2. Do you guys think that this is possible or am I dreaming?
