Man that bites big! Sounds a lot like my car. I had a run in with a ditch and bent the front frame up . The damage to mine sounds not nearly as bad as yours. I ended up paying $2,000 for a new front frame core from a donnor stang. It was lined and welded, this included new hood and front fenders with a paint match. I am in college too, and $$ is tight. I could of just straightened the frame out on a rack, but it would never be the same, and i knew my car had to be strong for the strip and the major power i planned on pulling out of it, so i just sucked it up and did it right. Such a pitty, that was my new heads money
I'm not trying top scare you, just telling you about my similar experience. Check around and find a reputable body shop to take a look at it. I really hope things turn out better for you than they did for me! And welcome to mustangworks. Hope to see you around for a while. Light Em Up!!! ![]() |
