![]() What I do is scrap the main parts of the old gaskets off and use my wire wheel to surface the block and heads to get rid of any stuck gasket stuff. Then I use an old shop vac. and suck up all the gasket material that flew everywhere. You know in the cylinder walls and what not. Then I use a rag and wipe everything clean.
