![]() Thanks for all the info.
I hate to see the hood scoop go. I hope they keep it even though it's a problem to get all the water out it after you wash it. Even though I don't have a 2001 I can easily imagine what happens after you wash it. My 2K's scoop appliqué holds water like a mother. Kind of makes you wish that it was set in sealant. Anyway, I have mixed feelings about retro. Mainly, because I remember the "cutting edge" Mustang II. I also didn't really care for the style that followed. So, while I can see why some would want a new style, I think it's safer to stick with what works. If you change things too much, and "screw the pooch," then what? In my opinion, the '94 styling decision to go back to the roots of Mustang and update that look saved the day. Camero, and Firebird got their asses kicked as a result. So, I want innovation, but not at the expense of tradition. Out. ------------------ 64-1/2 Convert, 95 Coupe, 98 Coupe, 00 GT Coupe. [This message has been edited by Scanner (edited 05-22-2001).] |
