BTW, the last production 5.0 rolled off of the assembly line , Now if only somebody would start producing a good aftermarket block that was readily available to the masses and cost in the neighborhood of 1,000 to 1,500 bucks (I know FRRP has the R302 but, they seem down right hard to get hold of.)

Anybody wanto to go into the casting business ?!!!!

Does Edelbrock or AFR have the facilities to do it?

$1,000 - $1,500 seems quite high too me, considering a new 302 block from Summit is $300. I don't think anyone would sell many blocks if they cost over $1000.
