Unfortunately, the lines between rice and non-rice are blurred somewhat. I think we can all agree that rice is not a make or model of car, but rather a state of mind. We have all seen the infamous 'stang that was riced out with stickers and body mods, or another famous look with the nice gold daytons and hydro's.

At the same time we have seen imports which display no stickers and are very nicely modified to provide maximum power.

But it is unfortunate that hollywood chose to make an american movie with next to nothing about american cars. But the reason behind that was the audience. 18-25 year olds prefer imports by a large margin. So hollywood goes by audience demand.
