The Fox bodied GT350 was a special edition made in '84. Not much special about them though - all the ones I have seen are white convertibles with burgundy GT350 decals and those crappy 390mm metric wheels. As far as I know, there was nothing special about the engine - I think it was the 5.0 CFI motor with like 180hp.

My 2000GT has the complete Saleen body kit. Where I live, they mark up Saleens so much that the non-supercharged models are over $40K. I know that with that much money into my GT in mods I will kick the crap out of a real Saleen. No stickers on my car though, though - I think that the stickers only belong on real Saleens. People can say that since they have Saleen parts on there that they have a right to have the sticker, but I do think that the stickers imply that it is a real Saleen. I just happen to think that the Saleens are the sweetest looking new Mustangs, so I wanted to make mine look like one. My car actually has better suspension than a Saleen anyways and will hang just fine with the non-supercharged 4.6 Saleens at the drag strip. Only thing I am lacking is some good brakes.
