What year GT?? What is the difference in insurance rates?? Did you call and get quotes on both cars??

People on this board can guide you pretty well but ultimately, the decision is up to YOU. What do you think you'd be more happy in?? What style do you like??

Personally, I'd take the GT. Sure you have to pay on it but it's a world of difference from a V6. And think of it this way, while you're paying payments, you will be building your credit at the same time!!
