I had a friend who dropped his air cleaner wingnut down his carb last year. Was a Chevy 305 in a '85 Camaro. POS. Ran it for a while like that because he didn't care. Took a chunk of metal out of one of the pistons. Tore it all to heck. He had a 350 to put in it though. 350 blew up a couple weeks later. Sold that car, has a '92 RS with a stock 305. Gutless.
------------------ Previously "BennyBoy" '69 Coupe with 351W-I rolled it 8/8 Edelbrock RPM intake, Edelbrock RPM cam, Edelbrock 750 cfm carb, Hedman headers, 2 1/2" pipe, glasspacks, C4: shift kit, 9" Currie: Trac-Lok 3.70s, 290hp-stock heads |
