LOL! I think Clint hit the track 3-4 times at most with his car with the T5.

You'll love the feel of a short throw shifter, any short throw shifter. I used tro love my old style Hurst competition Plus and it was just about the worst out there. I ran a Hurst Billet Plus in my Tremec and loved it, world above the Comp Plus.
