first off, i would like to thank you guys for the great site. the tech discussion has been invaluable. i was just wondering, is it possible to delete an old post of your own? i just dont want to clutter the board.

No, it is not possible for a user to delete a post or thread, whether it is his/her own or not. Only an administrator or a moderator can do that.
