Yes, it is common to be stuck behind a firewall when you're at a company, and unfortunately, there isn't anything I can do for you there. FIREWALLS JUST PLAIN SUCK. But, a necessary evil. You can also access our chat area using mIRC. This is a window chat client, and free for download on the web. Try http://www.download.com .
We use a dedicated, private IRC server as the back end to the chat applet. So, just set this window IRC program to "mustangworks.com" as the server, and leave it on the default port of 6667.
