If your going to continue to upgrade the motor in the future, sooner or later your going to need headers and a good exhaust system anyway - its just a matter of when your going to spend the money. On my car my Mac shorty's made a difference that could be felt and even very noticeble when I added the Hi-Flow Cat H-Pipe and Flowmaster cat backs. IMO, exhaust upgrades on these cars are definitely not a waste of $$$.
