ht2, most of the hp gains from the 98 to 99 has been with freer flowing exhaust. I saw absolutely no or extremely low gains from Borlas, K&N, underpullies and headers. Any claim that exhaust alone in the 99's will increase rwhp by 10-15 might be an a little bit much.
The combo of x-pike and cat backs will add some. But keep in mind that is around 1000K for what 10-15 hp? On a N/A car gains from exhaust mods are minimal at best, Pre 99's yes. |
